A vibrant, abstract digital artwork by Denzel Lightbourne titled Look Both Ways Before You Cross My Mind. It features two figures intertwined in an embrace yet separated by a car airbag, their forms dynamically rendered in shades of purple, blue, and pink, with a bright pink background. The composition includes: at the base, a bold white crosswalk resembling floating piano keys; a traffic light at the top; and electric green and yellow wave-like patterns encircling the figures, adding a sense of motion and emotion.

What is MOSAIC?

Mosaic is the physical epicentre of Grand Bahama’s artistic energy. In this gathering space, we cultivate creativity, forge connections, and inspire the cultural celebration in Grand Bahama. By offering a vibrant space for the visual and performing arts, we hope to empower artists, engage audiences, and honor The Bahamas’ rich cultural heritage through the creation of transformative artistic experiences.

Why “MOSAIC”?

Our founding corporate patron, The Grand Bahama Port Authority Limited, has been a steadfast advocate for nurturing and enriching the creative culture of Grand Bahama. Under their auspices, MOSAIC underwent a transformative renovation, evolving into the vibrant hub we see today—a beacon for the island’s creative renaissance. The name MOSAIC was chosen to reflect the spirit of unity in diversity, symbolizing how various artistic elements come together to form a unique and beautiful whole.
